🗣️ Calling all high school and collegiate esports enthusiasts! Join the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Esports Association (PIEA) on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the State Capitol for a day of advocacy and showcasing the growth of scholastic esports programs.
🌐 The event will feature display tables from Pennsylvania high school and collegiate esports programs, gaming demos, and opportunities for elected officials and visitors to engage in popular competitive video games.
📚 Scholastic Esports Day is a fantastic educational opportunity for students to witness state government up close, learn the art of advocacy, and highlight the significance of esports programs for academic and social success.
📢 The PIEA will provide fact sheets and information to empower students and advisors to discuss the importance of esports programs with elected officials. Most importantly, it's a chance for students to share their stories directly with state representatives.
